A: Hi. Where are you from?
B: Japan. How about you?
A: I’m from Mexico.
B: When did you come to the United States?
A: Oh, about a month ago. And you?
B: About six months ago.
A: Do you like it here?
B: Now I do. But I didn’t like it at the beginning.
A: Why not?
B: Hmm… well, I didn’t understand anything. Everyone was speaking very fast.
A: I know what you mean. Uh… You know, I don’t know your name…
B: It’s Rika. What’s your name?
A: Jose. It’s nice to meet you.
B: Nice to meet you, too.
