An English dialogue about finding out a way to Stamford.
A traveler wants to get to Stamford but he doesn’t know how to. He asks a newsagent for help.
Customer: Do you sell maps?
Salesperson: No, I’m sorry, we don’t.
Customer: Just my luck.
Salesperson: Maybe I can help you.
Customer: Well, can you tell me how to get to Stamford?
Salesperson: Sure. Follow the highway south for about ten miles and get off at Exit 30. At the end of the ramp, make a left on to Park Street.
Customer: Left at the end of the ramp?
Salesperson: Yes, then, at the traffic light, turn right on to Maple Lane. At the next intersection, turn left and you’ll be in the center of Stamford.
Customer: Thanks a lot.
Salesperson: You’re welcome.
